About Me

I was raised on a cotton farm in far southwestern Oklahoma and spent my formative years in a country Baptist church.  My great-grandparents were part of the original group of founders of the church shortly after the Oklahoma land run.  That upbringing set the stage for a life long search for spiritual meaning that never grows old and is never complete.  The spiritual journey is joyous and free and always changing.  The journey has led me to many and varied life experiences such as working with persons with AIDS, Kundalini yoga, meditations based on Stephen Levine’s work, working with affirmations, the study of music, hiking in the wilderness, monastic and silent retreats, bodywork, the integration of sexuality and spirituality, to name just a few.
